Recognition and Explanation
सोमेन सहितं पश्य सौभद्रमपराजितम् । अभिमन्युं महेष्वासं निशाकरसमद्युतिम्
somena sahitaṃ paśya saubhadram aparājitam | abhimanyuṃ maheṣvāsaṃ niśākarasamaddyutim ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ចូរមើលអភិមន្យូ កូនប្រុសនៃសុភទ្រា—មិនអាចឈ្នះបាន ជាអ្នកបាញ់ធ្នូដ៏អស្ចារ្យ—អង្គុយនៅក្នុងសមាគមជាមួយសោម (ព្រះចន្ទ) ពន្លឺរលោងស្មើនឹងព្រះចន្ទឯង»។
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse honors Abhimanyu’s undiminished merit and heroic stature: even after death, righteous valor and steadfast duty are portrayed as leading to exalted recognition, symbolized by his moon-like radiance and proximity to Soma.
Vaiśaṃpāyana directs attention to Abhimanyu in the celestial realm, describing him as undefeated and a great archer, seated with Soma and shining with brilliance comparable to the Moon.
