शोक-शमन उपदेशः
Instruction on the Pacification of Grief
यथा तु सलिलं राजन् क्रीडार्थमनुसंतरत् । उन्मज्जेच्च निमज्जेच्च किंचित् सत्त्वं नराधिप
yathā tu salilaṃ rājan krīḍārtham anusantarat | unmajjecca nimajjecca kiṃcit sattvaṃ narādhipa ||
ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ ដូចជាសត្វតូចមួយ លេងល្បែងក្នុងទឹក ហើយពេលខ្លះលេចឡើងលើផ្ទៃ ពេលខ្លះលិចចុះវិញ—ដូច្នេះដែរ សត្វមានជីវិតមួយ ត្រូវបានបណ្ដេញដោយស្ថានការណ៍ និងចិត្តចង់ ប្រែប្រួលឡើងទៅកាន់ភាពលេចធ្លោ ហើយបន្ទាប់មកធ្លាក់ចុះទៅក្នុងភាពមិនស្គាល់។
