Gāndhārī’s Viewing of Vaikartana/Karṇa
समेता: पुरुषव्याप्र निहतं शूरमाहवे | प्रकीर्णमूर्धजा: पत्न्यो रुदत्य: पर्युपासते,पुरुषसिंह! रणभूमिमें मारे गये इस शूरवीरके पास आकर इसकी पत्नियाँ सिरके बाल बिखेरे बैठी हुई रो रही हैं
sametāḥ puruṣavyāghra nihataṃ śūram āhave | prakīrṇamūrdhajāḥ patnyo rudatyaḥ paryupāsate ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយ៖ «ឱ បុរសសិង្ហា! ប្រពន្ធៗបានមកប្រមូលផ្តុំជុំវិញវីរបុរសដែលត្រូវសម្លាប់ក្នុងសមរភូមិ ហើយអង្គុយជិតក្បែរ ដោយសក់រលាត់រាយ រំជួលទឹកភ្នែកយំសោក»។ ទិដ្ឋភាពនេះបើកបង្ហាញតម្លៃមនុស្សនៃសង្គ្រាម៖ ការដួលរលំរបស់អ្នកក្លាហាន ត្រូវបានតាមដោយទុក្ខសោក និងភាពងាយរងគ្រោះរបស់អ្នកដែលចងភ្ជាប់ជាមួយគាត់ដោយកាតព្វកិច្ច និងសេចក្តីស្រឡាញ់។
