Vāmadeva’s Rājadharma: Norm-Setting, Counsel, and the Prevention of Rāṣṭra-Vināśa (वामदेव-प्रोक्तं राजधर्मम्)
ये केचित् भूमिपतय: सर्वास्तानन्ववेक्षयेत् । सुहृद्धिरनभिख्यातैस्तेन राजातिरिच्यते
ye kecid bhūmipatayaḥ sarvāṁs tān anvavekṣayet | suhṛdbhir anabhikhyātaiḥ tena rājātiricyate ||
វាមទេវៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ព្រះរាជាគួរតែត្រួតពិនិត្យ និងសង្កេតមើលស្ថានភាពរបស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រទាំងអស់ មិនថាជានរណាក៏ដោយ។ ព្រះរាជាដែលប្រើមិត្តស្មោះ ដែលមិនល្បីល្បាញជាសាធារណៈ ដើម្បីសង្កេតដោយសម្ងាត់អំពីស្ថានភាព និងចេតនារបស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រផ្សេងៗ—ដោយអាកប្បកិរិយានេះឯង ព្រះរាជានោះក្លាយជាអធិបតីលើសព្រះរាជាទាំងឡាយ។
