Book 12, Chapter 93 — Vāmadeva’s Counsel to King Vasumanā on Dharmic Kingship (धर्मप्रधान-राजधर्मोपदेशः)
एवं यो धर्मसंरम्भी धर्मार्थपरिचिन्तक: । अर्थान् समीक्ष्य भजते स ध्रुवं महदश्षुते
evaṁ yo dharma-saṁrambhī dharmārtha-paricintakaḥ | arthān samīkṣya bhajate sa dhruvaṁ mahad aśnute ||
វាមទេវបានមានពាក្យថា៖ អ្នកណាដែលមាំមួនក្នុងធម៌ មានចិត្តពិចារណាទាំងធម៌ និងអត្ថ (ផលប្រយោជន៍/ទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ) ហើយពិនិត្យមធ្យោបាយវត្ថុដោយប្រាជ្ញា រួចប្រើវាតាមគន្លងត្រឹមត្រូវ នោះប្រាកដជាទទួលបានផលធំ និងយូរអង្វែង។
