yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | rāṣṭraguptiṃ ca me rājan rāṣṭrasyaiva tu saṃgraham | samyag jijñāsamānāya prabrūhi bharatarṣabha ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ បានទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា! ខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នាចង់ដឹងឲ្យបានត្រឹមត្រូវ អំពីការការពារនគរ និងវិធីសាស្ត្រនៃការរួមបញ្ចូល រក្សាទុក និងគាំទ្រអាណាចក្រ។ ដូច្នេះ សូមព្រះអង្គ—ឱ វីរបុរសអធិរាជក្នុងវង្សភារតៈ—ពន្យល់ប្រាប់ខ្ញុំថា តើនគរគួរត្រូវបានការពារ និងបង្កើនកម្លាំងយ៉ាងដូចម្តេច»។
