बलं संकर्षणे नित्यं सौकुमार्य पुनर्गदे । रूपेण मत्त: प्रद्युम्मन: सोडसहायो5स्मि नारद
vāyudeva uvāca | balaṃ saṅkarṣaṇe nityaṃ saukumāryaṃ punar gade | rūpeṇa mattaḥ pradyumnaḥ ṣoḍaśa-sahāyo ’smi nārada ||
វាយុបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ នារទ! ក្នុងសង្គර්ෂណ (បលរាម) មានកម្លាំងមហិមា ជានិច្ច ហើយគាត់លង់លប់ក្នុងអំណាចនោះ។ ក្នុងគដ មានភាពទន់ភ្លន់លើសលប់ ដូច្នេះគាត់គេចវាងការខិតខំ។ ចំណែកប្រទ្យុម្ន គាត់ស្រវឹងដោយមោទនភាពលើសម្រស់របស់ខ្លួន។ ដូច្នេះ ទោះមានជំនួយការទាំងនេះក៏ដោយ ខ្ញុំហាក់ដូចជាគ្មានអ្នកជួយឡើយ»។

Because they are preoccupied with these traits, Vāyu laments that, despite having such ‘helpers’ (even said to be sixteen), he experiences himself as unsupported.
