भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । संवादं वासुदेवस्य सुरषषेनरिदस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | saṁvādaṁ vāsudevasya surarṣe nāradasya ca |
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «យុធិṣ្ឋិរៈ! ក្នុងរឿងនេះផងដែរ អ្នកប្រាជ្ញតែងលើកយកគំរូបុរាណមួយ—ប្រវត្តិនិទានចាស់ក្នុងទម្រង់សន្ទនារវាង វាសុទេវៈ (ព្រះស្រីក្រឹṣṇa) និងទេវឥសី នារ៉ដៈ—មកជាឧទាហរណ៍។»
