स्यातां यस्याहुकाक्रूरी कि नु दुःखतरं ततः । यस्य चापि न तौ स्यातां कि नु दुःखतरं ततः
syātāṁ yasyāhukākrūrī ki nu duḥkhataraṁ tataḥ | yasya cāpi na tau syātāṁ ki nu duḥkhataraṁ tataḥ ||
វាយុបាននិយាយថា៖ «បើអាហុក និងអក្រૂર—ដែលប្រកែកប្រឆាំងគ្នា—សុទ្ធតែជាសាច់ញាតិរបស់បុរសម្នាក់ តើមានទុក្ខអ្វីធំជាងនេះទៀត? ហើយបើទាំងពីរនោះមិនមែនជាមិត្តស្មោះរបស់គាត់ឡើយ តើមានទុក្ខអ្វីធំជាងនេះទៀត? ព្រោះការខ្វះមិត្ត និងអ្នកគាំទ្រដូច្នេះ ក៏ជាការបាត់បង់ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ដែរ»។
