Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)
तं शक््त्या वर्धमानश्न सर्वतः परिबृंहयेत् । नित्यं क्षताद् वारयति यो धर्मेष्वपि कर्मसु
taṁ śaktyā vardhamānaś ca sarvataḥ paribṛṁhayet | nityaṁ kṣatād vārayati yo dharmeṣv api karmasu ||
ភីष្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ពេលសមត្ថភាព និងសម្បត្តិរបស់ខ្លួនកើនឡើង គួរតែតាមកម្លាំងរបស់ខ្លួន បង្កើនកម្លាំង និងធ្វើឲ្យមនុស្សនោះ (ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ) រីកចម្រើនសម្បូរបែបពីគ្រប់ទិស។ មិត្តពិតគឺអ្នកដែល ទោះកំពុងប្រតិបត្តិការងារធម៌ក៏ដោយ ក៏តែងខិតខំការពារព្រះមហាក្សត្រពីការខាតបង់ និងមានចិត្តកង្វល់ពេលគិតដល់គ្រោះថ្នាក់លើព្រះអង្គ។ អ្នកណាដែលប្រាថ្នាឲ្យព្រះមហាក្សត្រខាតបង់ និងវិនាស គេត្រូវចាត់ទុកជាសត្រូវ។
