भीष्म उवाच अशक्ति: क्षत्रधर्मेण वैश्यधर्मेण वर्तयेत् । कृषिगोरक्ष्यमास्थाय व्यसने वृत्तिसंक्षये
bhīṣma uvāca aśaktiḥ kṣatradharmeṇa vaiśyadharmeṇa vartayet | kṛṣigorakṣyam āsthāya vyasane vṛttisaṃkṣaye ||
ភីស្មា បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ នៅពេលមនុស្សមិនអាចរស់នៅតាមធម៌របស់ក្សត្រិយបាន គួរតែចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតដោយយកធម៌របស់វៃស្យៈ។ នៅពេលមានគ្រោះមហន្តរាយ ហើយមុខរបរធម្មតារបស់ខ្លួនថយចុះ អាចយកកសិកម្ម និងការថែរក្សា-ការពារគោជាឧបាយចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតបាន។
