Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)
वैदिकानि च कर्माणि भवन्ति विगुणान्युत । ऋतवो न सुखा: सर्वे भवन्त्यामयिनस्तथा
vaidikāni ca karmāṇi bhavanti viguṇāny uta | ṛtavo na sukhāḥ sarve bhavanty āmayinas tathā ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ពេលដែលពិធីកម្មវេដមិនបានប្រព្រឹត្តតាមវិធីដែលបានកំណត់ វានឹងបាត់បង់អានុភាព និងក្លាយជាខ្វះគុណធម៌។ ដោយហេតុនោះ រដូវកាលក៏មិនសប្បាយដូចមុនទៀតទេ; វាក្លាយជាគ្មានសេចក្តីរីករាយ ហើយជាប្រភពនៃជំងឺ។
