Āśrama-dharma: Duties of the Four Life-Stages (आश्रमधर्मः)
राज्ञा वा समनुज्ञात: काम॑ कुर्वीत धार्मिक: । तस्य वृत्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि यच्च तस्योपजीवनम्
rājñā vā samanujñātaḥ kāmaṁ kurvīta dhārmikaḥ | tasya vṛttiṁ pravakṣyāmi yac ca tasyopajīvanam ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឬក៏ បើបានទទួលអនុញ្ញាតត្រឹមត្រូវពីព្រះរាជា បុរសអ្នកប្រកបដោយធម៌ អាចធ្វើការងារដែលខ្លួនប្រាថ្នា។ ឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំនឹងពណ៌នាអំពីវិធីរស់នៅដ៏សមរម្យ និងមធ្យោបាយចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតរបស់គេ ដើម្បីឲ្យការរស់នៅស្របតាមធម៌»។
