यावद्धि प्रथते लोके पुरुषस्य यशो भुवि । तावत् तस्याक्षयं स्थान भवतीति विनिश्चिता,जगत्में जबतक भूतलपर मनुष्यके यशका विस्तार होता रहता है, तबतक उसकी परलोकमें अचल स्थिति बनी रहती है, यह निश्चय है
yāvaddhi prathate loke puruṣasya yaśo bhuvi | tāvat tasya akṣayaṁ sthānaṁ bhavatīti viniścitā ||
ព្រះវាយុមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ដរាបណាកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះរបស់មនុស្សម្នាក់នៅលើផែនដី ក្នុងលោកនេះ នៅតែរីករាលដាល—ដរាបនោះ ស្ថានភាពរបស់គេនៅលោកក្រោយ នឹងនៅអចិន្ត្រៃយ៍មិនរលាយ; នេះជាការសម្រេចចិត្តដាច់ខាត។

Enduring fame (yaśas) that continues among people is presented as a sign and support of an imperishable posthumous standing; therefore one should pursue dharmic conduct that leaves a lasting, beneficial memory in the world.
