ऋते शान्तनवाद् भीष्मात् त्रिषु लोकेषु पार्थिव । सत्यधर्मान्महावीर्याच्छूराद् धर्मेकतत्परात्
ṛte śāntanavād bhīṣmāt triṣu lokeṣu pārthiva | satyadharmān mahāvīryāc chūrād dharmaikatatparāt ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ក្នុងបីលោក ខ្ញុំមិនដែលឮអំពីអ្នកណាផ្សេងទៀតឡើយ ក្រៅតែភីស្មៈ ព្រះរាជបុត្ររបស់សាន្តនុ—អ្នកនិយាយសច្ចៈ ឈរជាប់ក្នុងធម៌ វីរបុរសកម្លាំងធំ ហើយឧទ្ទិសខ្លួនទាំងស្រុងដល់ធម៌—ដែលដោយអំណាចតបស្យា និងព្រហ្មវត្ដ បានទប់ស្កាត់មរណភាពធម្មជាតិដែលមកដល់រាងកាយ»។
