अहं स नागो विप्रर्षे यथा मां विन्दते भवान् | आज्ञापय यथा स्वैरं कि करोमि प्रियं तव
ahaṃ sa nāgo viprarṣe yathā māṃ vindate bhavān | ājñāpaya yathā svairaṃ kiṃ karomi priyaṃ tava brahmarṣe ||
នាគបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រហ្មឫសិ! ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជានាគនោះ ដែលអ្នកប្រាថ្នាចង់ជួប។ ដូចដែលអ្នកបានស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំក៏ឈរនៅមុខអ្នកដូច្នោះដែរ។ សូមបញ្ជាតាមព្រះហឫទ័យ—ខ្ញុំនឹងធ្វើសេវាកម្មអ្វីដែលជាទីពេញចិត្តរបស់អ្នក?»
