अभिप्रेतामसंश्शलिष्टां कृत्वा चात्महितां क्रियाम् । न याति निरयं कश्चिदिति धर्मविदो विदु:
abhipretām asaṁśliṣṭāṁ kṛtvā cātma-hitāṁ kriyām | na yāti nirayaṁ kaścid iti dharma-vido viduḥ ||
នាគបាននិយាយថា៖ ប្រសិនបើមនុស្សធ្វើសកម្មភាពដែលខ្លួនប្រាថ្នាពិតៗ ហើយសកម្មភាពនោះមិនប៉ះពាល់ដោយបាប និងមានប្រយោជន៍ដល់ខ្លួនឯង នោះគ្មាននរណាម្នាក់ធ្លាក់ទៅនរកដោយហេតុនោះឡើយ។ នេះជាការយល់ដឹងរបស់អ្នកដឹងធម៌។
