शेषान्नभोक्ता वचनानुकूलो हितार्जवोत्कृष्टकृताकृतज्ञ: | अवैरकृद्‌ भूतहिते नियुक्तो गड़ाह्दाम्भोडभिजनोपपन्न:

Transliteration

śeṣānna-bhoktā vacanānukūlo hitārjavotkṛṣṭa-kṛtākṛta-jñaḥ | avaira-kṛd bhūta-hite niyukto gaṅgā-dāmbho(d)bhijano-upapannaḥ ||

Translation

ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍បានមានពាក្យថា៖ «គាត់រស់ដោយបរិភោគអាហារដែលនៅសល់ពីយជ្ញា និយាយពាក្យសមរម្យ និងរស់នៅដោយអ្វីដែលមានប្រយោជន៍ និងត្រង់ត្រូវ។ គាត់ដឹងច្បាស់ថាអ្វីគួរធ្វើ និងអ្វីមិនគួរធ្វើ។ គាត់មិនមានសត្រូវជាមួយនរណាម្នាក់ឡើយ បន្តឧទ្ទិសខ្លួនដើម្បីសុខុមាលភាពនៃសត្វមានជីវិតទាំងអស់ ហើយកើតក្នុងវង្សត្រកូលបរិសុទ្ធឥតស្នាម ដូចទឹកនៃទន្លេគង្គា»។
