तस्यैकत्वं महत्त्वं च स चैक: पुरुष: स्मृतः । महापुरुषशब्दं स बिभत्येंक: सनातन:,उनमें एकत्व भी है और महत्त्व भी; अतः एकमात्र वे ही पुरुष माने गये हैं। एक सनातन श्रीहरि ही महापुरुष नाम धारण करते हैं
tasyāikatvaṃ mahattvaṃ ca sa caikaḥ puruṣaḥ smṛtaḥ | mahāpuruṣaśabdaṃ sa bibharty ekaḥ sanātanaḥ ||
ព្រះអង្គមានទាំងឯកភាព និងមហិមា; ដូច្នេះព្រះអង្គតែមួយគត់ត្រូវបានចងចាំថាជា «បុរស» ពិតប្រាកដ។ ព្រះអង្គតែមួយដ៏សនាតនៈនោះ ទទួលនាមថា «មហាបុរស» (Mahāpuruṣa) គឺបុរសដ៏អធិឧត្តម។

The verse teaches that the Supreme Being is uniquely one (aikatva) and supremely great (mahattva); hence tradition recognizes only that single eternal Reality as the true Puruṣa, rightly called “Mahāpuruṣa.”
