गन्धर्वैरप्सरोभिश्व सततं संनिषेवितम्‌ । उत्सृज्येमं गिरिवरमेकाकी प्राप्तवानसि

gandharvair apsarobhiś ca satataṁ saṁniṣevitam | utsṛjya imaṁ girivaram ekākī prāptavān asi, kim kāraṇam |

ភីṣ្មៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ភ្នំដ៏ប្រសើរនេះ តែងតែមានគន្ធರ್ವ និងអប្សរាសមកបម្រើជានិច្ច។ ហេតុអ្វីបានជាព្រះអង្គបោះបង់លំនៅដ្ឋានដ៏អធិរាជ—ដែលគ្មានឃ្លាននិងស្រេក—ដែលទេវតា អសុរ និងឥសីមានពន្លឺអស្ចារ្យអស្ចារ្យ តែងតែឈររង់ចាំបម្រើព្រះអង្គ ហើយមកទីនេះតែម្នាក់ឯង?»
