कामं स तव तुष्टात्मा कुर्याच्छापविमो क्षणम् । “राजन! तुम ब्रह्मण्यदेव भगवान् विष्णुके भक्त हो और वे श्रीहरि देवता तथा असुर सबके गुरु हैं। उनका मन तुमपर संतुष्ट है; इसलिये वे तुम्हारी इच्छाके अनुसार तुम्हें अवश्य शापसे मुक्त कर देंगे
kāmaṃ sa tava tuṣṭātmā kuryāc chāpavimokṣaṇam |
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់នោះមានព្រះហឫទ័យពេញចិត្តចំពោះព្រះអង្គហើយ ដូច្នេះ ប្រសិនបើព្រះអង្គប្រាថ្នា ព្រះអង្គអាចដោះលែងព្រះអង្គពីសាប (śāpa) បាន»។
