अश्वशिरो-आख्यानम्

ऋते देवप्रसादाद् वा राजन् ज्ञानागमेन वा | गहनं होतदाख्यानं व्याख्यातव्यं तवारिहन्
ṛte devaprasādād vā rājan jñānāgamena vā | gahanaṃ hy etad ākhyānaṃ vyākhyātavyaṃ tavārihan ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា បើគ្មានព្រះគុណរបស់ទេវតាទាំងឡាយ ឬគ្មានការណែនាំពីអាគមសាស្ត្រដែលផ្អែកលើចំណេះដឹងពិត នោះរឿងដ៏ជ្រាលជ្រៅនេះ មិនអាចឆ្លើយបានដោយតែការតក្កវិជ្ជា ទោះបីជាចំណាយពេលរាប់រយឆ្នាំក៏ដោយ។ ឱ អ្នកបង្ក្រាបសត្រូវ ទោះបីប្រធានបទនេះពិបាកយល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំង ក៏ខ្ញុំត្រូវពន្យល់វាសម្រាប់អ្នក»។
