Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva
श्रुत्वा चर्षिस्तद् वचनं शुकस्य प्रीतो महात्मा पुनराह चैनम् | भो भो पुत्र स्थीयतां तावदद्य यावच्चक्षु: प्रीणयामि त्वदर्थे,शुकदेवकी यह बात सुनकर अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुए महात्मा व्यासने उनसे कहा--“बेटा! बेटा! आज यहीं रहो, जिससे तुम्हें जी-भर निहारकर अपने नेत्रोंको तृप्त कर लूँ”
śrutvā cārṣis tad vacanaṃ śukasya prīto mahātmā punar āha cainam | bho bho putra sthīyatāṃ tāvad adya yāvac cakṣuḥ prīṇayāmi tvadarthe ||
ព្រះមហាមុនី វ្យាសៈ បានស្តាប់ពាក្យរបស់ឥសី ស៊ូកៈ ហើយមានចិត្តរីករាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ក៏និយាយទៅកាន់គាត់ម្ដងទៀតថា៖ «កូនអើយ កូនអើយ—សូមស្នាក់នៅទីនេះសិនថ្ងៃនេះបន្តិច ដើម្បីឲ្យឪពុកបានមើលកូនឲ្យពេញចិត្ត និងឲ្យភ្នែកឪពុកបានស្កប់ស្កល់ដោយសារកូន»
