देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
न मातृपुत्रबान्धवा न संस्तुतः प्रियो जन: । अनुव्रजन्ति संकटे व्रजन्तमेकपातिनम्
na mātṛ-putra-bāndhavā na saṁstutaḥ priyo janaḥ | anuvrajanti saṅkaṭe vrajantaṁ eka-pātinam ||
វ្យាសៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «នៅវេលាវិបត្តិ មិនមែនម្តាយ មិនមែនកូន មិនមែនបងប្អូនញាតិមិត្ត—សូម្បីតែមនុស្សជាទីស្រឡាញ់ដែលគេកោតសរសើរផង—នឹងតាមទៅជាមួយអ្នកដែលចេញដំណើរតែម្នាក់ឯងលើផ្លូវទៅលោកក្រោយឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះ ការស្លាប់ និងការឆ្លងទៅលោកក្រោយ ត្រូវប្រឈមមុខដោយខ្លួនឯង; គួរពឹងផ្អែកលើធម្មៈ និងវិន័យខាងក្នុង មិនមែនលើការចងពាក់ព័ន្ធលោកិយ»។
