सुवर्णष्ठीविनोपाख्यानम्
The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
देवानामविहिंसायां न भवेन्मानुषक्षयम् । तद् गृहाण महाराज पूजाहों नौ मतो भवान्
devānām avihiṁsāyāṁ na bhaven mānuṣa-kṣayam | tad gṛhāṇa mahārāja pūjyo ’haṁ nau mato bhavān ||
នារទៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «បើមានអហിംសាចំពោះទេវតា នោះមិនគួរឲ្យមានការបំផ្លាញមនុស្សឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះ ឱ មហារាជា សូមទទួលយកដំបូន្មាននេះ៖ សូមជ្រើសព្រះពរមួយ ដែលមិនបង្កហិង្សាទៅលើទេវតា ហើយក៏មិននាំឲ្យមនុស្សជាតិវិនាសដែរ។ ក្នុងទស្សនៈរបស់យើង អ្នកសមនឹងទទួលការគោរព»។
