सुरापाने च सक्तानां ब्राह्मणानां दुरात्मनाम् । गुरुदारप्रसक्तानां गतिं विज्ञाय चाशुभाम्,मदिरापानमें आसक्त दुरात्मा ब्राह्मणोंकी तथा गुरुपत्नीगामी मनुष्योंकी जो अशुभ गति होती है, उसका भी विचार करे
surāpāne ca saktānāṁ brāhmaṇānāṁ durātmanām | gurudāraprasaktānāṁ gatiṁ vijñāya cāśubhām ||
ភីष្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ចូរពិចារណាផងដែរអំពីវាសនាអសុភដែលរង់ចាំព្រហ្មណ៍ចិត្តអាក្រក់ ដែលញៀនស្រា; ហើយអំពីអ្នកដែលលួចលាក់តាមបំណងទៅរកភរិយារបស់គ្រូ (គុរុ)។ ចូរយល់ឲ្យច្បាស់ថា ការប្រព្រឹត្តបែបនេះនាំទៅកាន់ចុងបញ្ចប់ដ៏អមង្គល»។
