Parāśara’s Instruction
वर्णाश्रमकृतैर्धर्मविपरीतं क्वचित्समम् | गतान्तैरध्यवसितमत्याश्रममिदं व्रतम्
varṇāśramakṛtair dharma-viparītaṃ kvacit samam | gatāntair adhyavasitam atyāśramam idaṃ vratam ||
ភីෂ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «វ្រតៈនេះ ក្នុងខ្លះៗ ប្រែប្រួលផ្ទុយពីធម្មៈដែលកំណត់ដោយប្រព័ន្ធវណ្ណៈ និងអាស្រាម ហើយក្នុងខ្លះៗ វាសមស្របស្របគ្នា។ អ្នកដែលបានទៅដល់ចុងផ្លូវ—អ្នកដឹងសេចក្តីសម្រេចចុងក្រោយ—បានប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តយ៉ាងមាំមួនលើវា។ វ្រតៈនេះឈរលើស (និងលើកលែង) អាស្រាមធម្មតាទាំងឡាយ»។
