Livelihood, Virtuous Association, and Ethics of Giving
उमोवाच भगवन् सर्वभूतेषु प्रभावाभ्यधिको गुणै: । अजय्यश्नाप्यधृष्यश्न तेजसा यशसा श्रिया
umovāca bhagavan sarvabhūteṣu prabhāvābhyadhiko guṇaiḥ | ajayyaś cāpy adhṛṣyaś ca tejasā yaśasā śriyā | mahābhāga! yajñe yaḥ khalu evaṃ tvayi bhāgadāna-niṣedhaḥ kṛtaḥ, tena me mahad duḥkham abhavat | anagha! asmin apamāne mama sarvaṃ śarīraṃ kampate |
ឧមា បានទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ដ៏ព្រះពរ! ក្នុងសត្វលោកទាំងអស់ ព្រះអង្គលើសលប់ដោយអំណាច និងគុណធម៌—មិនអាចឈ្នះបាន មិនអាចប៉ះពាល់បាន ពន្លឺតេជៈរុងរឿង មានកិត្តិយសល្បីល្បាញ និងពោរពេញដោយសិរីមង្គល។ ឱ ព្រះមានព្រលឹងធំ! ខ្ញុំសោកស្តាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំងដែលក្នុងយញ្ញ គេបានហាមឃាត់ចំណែកសមគួររបស់ព្រះអង្គដូច្នេះ។ ឱ ព្រះអង្គដ៏គ្មានទោស! ដោយការប្រមាថនេះ រាងកាយខ្ញុំទាំងមូលកំពុងញ័រ»។
