Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma
शतं सहस्राणि चतुर्दशेह परागतिर्जीवगणस्य दैत्य | आरोहणं तत्कृतमेव विद्धि स्थान तथा नि:सरणं च तेषाम्
śataṁ sahasrāṇi caturdaśeha parāgatir jīvagaṇasya daitya | ārohaṇaṁ tatkṛtam eva viddhi sthānaṁ tathā niḥsaraṇaṁ ca teṣām ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ឱ ដៃត្យៈ! ក្នុងលោកនេះ គេបានប្រកាសថា ចំនួនផ្លូវវង្វេងកំណើត (គតិ) របស់សត្វជីវៈទាំងមូល មានដល់ដប់បួនសែន។ ចូរដឹងថា ការឡើងទៅកាន់លោកខ្ពស់ៗរបស់ពួកវា កើតឡើងដោយឧបករណ៍ដប់បួននោះឯង; ដូចគ្នានេះ ការស្ថិតនៅក្នុងស្ថានភាពណាមួយ និងការចាកចេញ ឬធ្លាក់ចុះពីស្ថានភាពនោះ ក៏អាស្រ័យលើវាដែរ។ ដូច្នេះ គួរយល់ថា ទិសដៅធម៌នៃអង្គធាតុខាងក្នុង និងខាងក្រៅទាំងនេះ ជាអ្នកកំណត់ថា សត្វមួយឡើង ស្ថិត ឬធ្លាក់ចុះ។
