तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

स्यूमराश्मिरुवाच स्यूमरश्मिरहं ब्रह्म॒न्‌ जिज्ञासार्थमिहागत: । श्रेयस्काम: प्रत्यवोचमार्जवान्न विवक्षया

Sūmarāśmir uvāca—Sūmarāśmir ahaṁ brahman jijñāsārtham ihāgataḥ | Śreyaskāmaḥ pratyavocam ārjavān na vivakṣayā ||

ស្យូមរាស្មីបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍! ខ្ញុំមាននាមថា ស្យូមរាស្មី។ ខ្ញុំមកទីនេះដោយបំណងស្វែងយល់ចំណេះដឹង។ ដោយប្រាថ្នាកុសល និងដោយចិត្តត្រង់សាមញ្ញ ខ្ញុំបាននិយាយបង្ហាញចំពោះលោក មិនមែនដោយចិត្តចង់ប្រកែកវាទឡើយ»
