तामधर्मभयादू भीतां पुनरेव प्रयाचतीम् । तदाब्रवीद् देवदेवो निगृहोदं वचस्तत:,अधर्मके भयसे डरकर पुनः कृपाकी भीख माँगती हुई मृत्युको रोककर देवाधिदेव ब्रह्माने उससे यह बात कही--
tām adharmabhayād bhītāṃ punar eva prayācatīm | tadābravīd devadevo nigṛhya idaṃ vacas tataḥ ||
បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះទេវទេវៈ (ព្រះព្រហ្ម) បានឃើញមច្ចុភ័យខ្លាចអធម្ម ហើយមកអង្វរម្ដងទៀត ដូច្នេះទ្រង់បានទប់ស្កាត់នាង ហើយមានព្រះវាចាដូច្នេះ៖
