Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
अभिवाद्य गुरु ब्रूयादधीष्व भगवन्निति । इदं करिष्ये भगवन्निदं चापि कृतं मया
abhivādya guruṁ brūyād adhīṣva bhagavann iti | idaṁ kariṣye bhagavann idaṁ cāpi kṛtaṁ mayā ||
បន្ទាប់ពីបានធ្វើការគោរពគ្រូដោយសមរម្យ សិស្សគួរចងដៃជម្រាបថា៖ «ព្រះគ្រូដ៏គួរគោរព សូមបង្រៀនខ្ញុំ»។ ហើយគួររាយការណ៍ដោយសេចក្តីស្មោះត្រង់ និងវិន័យថា៖ «កិច្ចការនេះ ខ្ញុំនឹងធ្វើឥឡូវនេះ; កិច្ចការនោះ ខ្ញុំបានបញ្ចប់រួចហើយ»។ ខគម្ពីរនេះដាក់ការសិក្សាឲ្យឈរលើការគោរព ការទទួលខុសត្រូវ និងការត្រៀមខ្លួនចំពោះភារកិច្ច។
