Jñāna-plava (The Raft of Knowledge): Svabhāva, Prajñā, and the Ascent to Ātmajñāna
नास्य देवा न गन्धर्वा न पिशाचा न राक्षसा: । पदमन्ववरोहन्ति प्राप्तस्थ परमां गतिम्
nāsya devā na gandharvā na piśācā na rākṣasāḥ | padam anvavarohanti prāptastha paramāṃ gatim ||
សូម្បីតែទេវតា កន្ធរវៈ ពិសាច និងរាក្សស ក៏មិនអាចដើរតាមស្នាមជើងរបស់មហាត្មាអ្នកប្រាជ្ញនោះបានឡើយ—អ្នកដែលបានឈានដល់គោលដៅដ៏លើសលប់។ ដំណើររបស់គាត់លើសពីការត្រាប់តាម និងការតាមល追 ព្រោះគោលដៅគាត់ជាអតិបរមា ហើយផ្លូវគាត់ល្អិតល្អន់ ឆ្ពោះចូលខាងក្នុង ដោយឈរលើចំណេះដឹងពិត។

The verse teaches that the realized knower who has reached the supreme goal becomes untraceable by ordinary cosmic beings; liberation/ultimate attainment is subtle and inward, not something that even powerful beings can ‘follow’ as an external path.
Jaigiṣavya is describing the stature of a liberated sage: even exalted classes of beings—devas, gandharvas, piśācas, and rākṣasas—cannot track or imitate the realized one’s ‘footsteps’ once he has attained the highest state.
