ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
सर्वे सर्वेषु भूतेषु यथावत् प्रतिपेदिरे । सर्वे दाक्षायणीपुत्रा: प्राजापत्या महाबला:
sarve sarveṣu bhūteṣu yathāvat pratipedire | sarve dākṣāyaṇīputrāḥ prājāpatyā mahābalāḥ |
ភីស្មាបានមានព្រះវាចាថា៖ «ពួកគាទាំងអស់បានប្រព្រឹត្តចំពោះសត្វមានជីវិតទាំងអស់ដោយសមគួរ និងត្រឹមត្រូវ។ ពួកគាទាំងអស់កើតពីកូនស្រីរបស់ទក្ខៈ ហើយជាវង្សកូនចៅដ៏មហាបលរបស់ប្រជាបតិ កស្ស្យបៈ។»
