तस्मादेतत् प्रयत्नेन कौन्तेय प्रतिपालय । यो हि राज्ये स्थित: शश्वद् वशी तुल्यप्रियाप्रिय:
tasmādetat prayatnena kaunteya pratipālaya | yo hi rājye sthitaḥ śaśvad vaśī tulyapriyāpriyaḥ ||
ដូច្នេះហើយ កូនកុន្តីអើយ ចូររក្សា និងគាំទ្រនេះដោយការខិតខំយ៉ាងមុតមាំ។ ព្រោះអ្នកដែលឈរនៅក្នុងរាជ្យ ត្រូវតែគ្រប់គ្រងខ្លួនជានិច្ច មានចិត្តស្មើគ្នាចំពោះអ្វីដែលពេញចិត្ត និងអ្វីដែលមិនពេញចិត្ត—ហើយដោយភាពមិនលំអៀងដែលមានវិន័យនេះ ទើបអាចការពារអាណាចក្រ។
