प्रजापतयः देवगणाश्च दिशि-दिशि स्थिताः ऋषयः

स मे भवान्‌ शंसतु सर्वमेतत्‌ सामान्यशब्दैश्व विशेषणैश्न । स मे भवान्‌ शंसतु तावदेत- ज्ज्ञाने फलं कर्मणि वा यदस्ति

sa me bhavān śaṃsatu sarvam etat sāmānyaśabdaiś ca viśeṣaṇaiś ca | sa me bhavān śaṃsatu tāvad etaj jñāne phalaṃ karmaṇi vā yad asti ||

ភីស្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ សូមព្រះអង្គពន្យល់អំពីរឿងទាំងនេះទាំងអស់ដល់ខ្ញុំ—ទាំងដោយពាក្យទូទៅ និងដោយការបែងចែកឲ្យច្បាស់លាស់។ សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំផងថា ផលណាដែលជាកម្មសិទ្ធិរបស់ចំណេះដឹង និងផលណាដែលជាកម្មសិទ្ធិរបស់ការប្រតិបត្តិកម្ម ប្រសិនបើមានភាពខុសគ្នានោះ។
