ब्राह्मण उवाच बाल्ये यदि स्यादज्ञानान्मया हस्त: प्रसारित: । निवृत्तलक्षणं धर्ममुपासे संहितां जपन्‌

Transliteration

brāhmaṇa uvāca bālye yadi syād ajñānān mayā hastaḥ prasāritaḥ | nivṛttalakṣaṇaṃ dharmam upāse saṃhitāṃ japan |

Translation

ព្រាហ្មណ៍បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បើនៅវ័យកុមារភាព ដោយអវិជ្ជា ខ្ញុំធ្លាប់លាតដៃសុំអ្វីពីអ្នកណាម្នាក់ ខ្ញុំក៏មិនចាំទេ។ តែឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំសូត្រសំហិតា—មន្តគាយត្រី—ហើយបម្រើធម៌នៃនិវૃત្ដិ គឺធម៌នៃការដកខ្លួន និងការរឹតត្បិត»។
