Bhrigu–Bharadvaja Dialogue: A Karma-Based Account of Varṇa
मनुष्यों ब्राह्मणश्चासि श्रोत्रियश्वासि काश्यप । सुदुर्लभमवाप्यैतन्न दोषान्मर्तुमहसि
manuṣyo brāhmaṇaś cāsi śrotriyaś cāsi kāśyapa | sudurlabham avāpyaitad na doṣān martum arhasi ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ កាស្យប! អ្នកជាមនុស្ស ជាព្រាហ្មណ៍ ហើយជាអ្នកប្រាជ្ញវេទ (ស្រូត្រីយ) ផងដែរ។ បានទទួលរាងកាយមនុស្សដ៏កម្រខ្លាំងបែបនេះហើយ មិនគួរមើលឃើញតែ दोष ហើយសម្រេចចិត្តស្លាប់ដោយដៃខ្លួនឯងឡើយ»។
