वैश्य: कश्चिदृषिसुतं काश्यपं संशितव्रतम् । रथेन पातयामास श्रीमान् दृप्तस्तपस्विनम्
bhīṣma uvāca | vaiśyaḥ kaścid ṛṣisutaṃ kāśyapaṃ saṃśitavratam | rathena pātayāmāsa śrīmān dṛptas tapasvinam ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «កាលពីបុរាណ មានពាណិជ្ជករ (វៃស្យ) ម្នាក់ សម្បូរទ្រព្យ ហើយស្រវឹងដោយមោទនភាពនៃទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ។ គេបានបុកប៉ះដោយរថរបស់ខ្លួន ឲ្យកាស្យប—កូនរបស់ឥសី មនុស្សតបស្យា ដែលប្រកាន់វ្រតដ៏តឹងរឹង—ដួលចុះ»។
