Adhyāya 174: Karma as an inescapable companion (कर्मानुगमन-उपदेश)
गौतमश्नापि सम्प्राप्प पुनस्तं शबरालयम् । शूद्रायां जनयामास पुत्रान् दुष्कृतकारिण:
Gautamaś cāpi samprāpya punas taṁ śabarālayam | śūdrāyāṁ janayāmāsa putrān duṣkṛtakāriṇaḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «គោតមៈក៏បានត្រឡប់ទៅទីលំនៅរបស់សាបរៈម្តងទៀត ហើយរស់នៅទីនោះ; ហើយតាមរយៈស្ត្រីជនជាតិឝូទ្រៈម្នាក់ គាត់បានបង្កើតកូនប្រុសជាច្រើន ដែលក្លាយជាអ្នកប្រព្រឹត្តអំពើអាក្រក់។»
