स तत्र न्यवसद्‌ विप्रो घृणी किज्चिदसंस्पृशन्‌ | क्षुधितश्छन्द्यमानो5पि भोजनं नाभ्यनन्दत

sa tatra nyavasad vipro ghṛṇī kiñcid asaṁspṛśan | kṣudhitaś chandyamāno 'pi bhojanaṁ nābhyanandata ||

ភីស្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ព្រាហ្មណ៍ដ៏មានមេត្តាករុណានោះបានស្នាក់នៅទីនោះ ប៉ុន្តែមិនបានប៉ះពាល់អ្វីមួយនៅកន្លែងនោះឡើយ។ ទោះបីឃ្លាន ហើយត្រូវបានអំពាវនាវឲ្យបរិភោគជាញឹកញាប់ ក៏គាត់មិនព្រមទទួលយកអាហារនៅទីនោះទេ—បង្ហាញពីការអត់ធ្មត់តាមធម៌ដោយចេតនា មិនមែនដោយខ្វះឆន្ទៈបរិភោគឡើយ។
