विष्णुर्मरीचये प्रादान्मरीचिर्भगवानपि
viṣṇur marīcaye prādān marīcir bhagavān api
ភីស្មាបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ព្រះវិស្ណុបានប្រទាន (ធម៌បង្រៀននេះ) ដល់មារីចិ; ហើយមារីចិ មហាឥសីដ៏គួរគោរព ក៏បានបន្តប្រគល់បន្តទៅទៀត។ ដោយបង្ហាញខ្សែសង្វាក់នៃការបញ្ជូននេះ គេបានបញ្ជាក់អំណាចសីលធម៌នៃព្រះបន្ទូលតាមវង្សបុរាណដ៏គួរជឿទុកចិត្ត។
