छिन्दन् भिन्दन् रुजन् कृन्तन् दारयन् पोथयन्नपि
chindan bhindan rujan kṛntan dārayan pothayann api
ភីष្មបាននិយាយថា៖ «ទោះបីកំពុងកាត់ បំបែក បុកបាក់ ច្រៀក ក្រឡាប់បំបែក និងវាយប្រហារ—អំពើដែលបង្ហាញភាពសាហាវនៃហិង្សា—ក៏ត្រូវយល់អំពីទម្ងន់សីលធម៌នៃអំពើទាំងនោះ និងវិន័យដែលត្រូវការដើម្បីទប់ស្កាត់វាឲ្យស្ថិតក្នុងធម៌ (ធម្មៈ)»។
