शुशुभाते5तिविमले द्वे नेत्रे कृष्णपिड्ले । उसने काले मृगचर्मको वस्त्रके रूपमें धारण कर रक्खा था
śuśubhāte 'tivimale dve netre kṛṣṇapiṅgale | sa kāle mṛgacarmako vastrārūpeṇa dhārayām āsa, yasmin suvarṇanirmitāḥ tārāḥ jaḍitāḥ āsan | sa sva-lalāṭe sūrya-sadṛśaṃ tejasvi netraṃ dhārayām āsa | tat-śeṣe kṛṣṇa-piṅgalavarṇe dve atyanta-nirmale netre ca śobhāṃ prāpnutaḥ |
ភីષ្មៈបាននិយាយថា ភ្នែកទាំងពីររបស់ព្រះអង្គ—ពណ៌ខ្មៅ និងពណ៌លឿងត្នោត—ស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ហើយភ្លឺរលោងដោយសោភា។ ព្រះអង្គស្លៀកស្បែកក្តាន់ខ្មៅជាវស្ត្រ ដែលតុបតែងដោយលំនាំដូចផ្កាយធ្វើពីមាស។ លើលលាដ៍ក្បាល ព្រះអង្គមានភ្នែកមួយភ្លឺចែងចាំងដូចព្រះអាទិត្យ; ក្រៅពីនោះ ភ្នែកទាំងពីរដែលខ្មៅ និងលឿងត្នោត ក៏ស្អាតឥតខ្ចោះ និងរុងរឿង។
