On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
चन्द्रमा विमल॑ व्योम यथाभ्युदिततारकम् । विकीर्याग्निं तथा भूतमुत्थितं श्रूयते तदा
candramā vimalaṃ vyoma yathābhyuditatārakam | vikīryāgniṃ tathā bhūtam utthitaṃ śrūyate tadā ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ដូចព្រះចន្ទរះឡើងក្នុងមេឃស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធ ក្រោយពេលផ្កាយទាំងឡាយបានលេចឡើង ដូច្នោះដែរ—ដោយបោះបង់ភ្លើងយជ្ញឲ្យខ្ចាត់ខ្ចាយទៅគ្រប់ទិស—មានសត្វវិញ្ញាណដ៏គួរឱ្យភ័យខ្លាចមួយបានលេចឡើងនៅទីនោះក្នុងវេលានោះ។ ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ដ៏សាហាវនេះ ខ្ញុំបានឮថា ព្រះឥសីទាំងឡាយបាននិទានប្រាប់»។

The verse underscores how ritual space and moral order (dharma) are portrayed as sensitive to disturbance: a sacrificial setting, meant for auspicious order, becomes the stage for a fearful manifestation.
