Adhyāya 166: Kṛtaghna-doṣa (कृतघ्नदोषः) — the fault of ingratitude and the limits of expiation

प्राजापत्यमदत्त्वाश्चमग्न्याधेयस्य दक्षिणाम्‌ । अनाहिताग्निरिति स प्रोच्यते धर्मदर्शिभि:

Transliteration

prājāpatyam adattvāś ca agnyādheyasya dakṣiṇām | anāhitāgnir iti sa procyate dharmadarśibhiḥ ||

Translation

ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ អ្នកណាចាប់ផ្តើមពិធីអគ្ន្យាធាន (ការបង្កើតភ្លើងបរិសុទ្ធ) ប៉ុន្តែមិនថ្វាយទានដក្សិណាដែលបានកំណត់សម្រាប់ព្រាជាបតិ—គឺដក្សិណារូបសេះ—នោះ តាមទស្សនៈរបស់អ្នកឃើញធម៌ពិត គេហៅថា «អនាហិតាគ្និ» (អ្នកមិនបានបង្កើតភ្លើងឲ្យត្រឹមត្រូវ)។
