न ते चालयितुं शक्‍या धर्मव्यापारकारिण: । न तेषां भिद्यते वृत्तं यत्पुरा साधुभि: कृतम्‌

Transliteration

na te cālayituṁ śakyā dharmavyāpārakāriṇaḥ | na teṣāṁ bhidyate vṛttaṁ yat pūrā sādhubhiḥ kṛtam ||

Translation

ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ អ្នកដែលប្រតិបត្តិធម៌ មិនអាចត្រូវរុញរាឲ្យឆ្លងចេញពីកិច្ចការសុចរិតបានឡើយ។ អាកប្បកិរិយាដែលបានតាំងមាំរបស់ពួកគេ មិនបែកបាក់; ពួកគេបន្តដើរតាមច្បាប់នៃសុចរិតធម៌ដដែល ដែលបុរសល្អក្នុងកាលបុរាណបានអនុវត្ត ហើយវិន័យដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់នោះនៅក្នុងពួកគេ មិនរលាយបាត់ទេ។
