भीष्म उवाच अत्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि पुराणमृषिसंस्तुतम्‌ । इन्द्रोत: शौनको विप्रो यदाह जनमेजयम्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te vartayiṣyāmi purāṇam ṛṣi-saṁstutam | indrotaḥ śaunako vipro yad āha janamejayam ||

Translation

ភីષ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «នៅទីនេះ ខ្ញុំនឹងរៀបរាប់ដល់អ្នកនូវរឿងបុរាណមួយ ដែលពួកឥសីសរសើរ—គឺអ្វីដែលព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ឥន្ទ្រនោត្រៈ នៃវង្សសៅនកៈ បានប្រាប់ដល់ព្រះបាទជនមេជ័យកាលមុន»។
