Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
यत्र श्यामो लोहिताक्षो दण्डश्चरति सूद्यत: । प्रजास्तत्र न मुहान्ते नेता चेत् साधु पश्यति
yatra śyāmo lohitākṣo daṇḍaś carati sūdyataḥ | prajāstatra na muhyante netā cet sādhu paśyati ||
ទីណាដំបងនៃទណ្ឌកម្ម—ងងឹត ហើយភ្នែកក្រហម—ដើររវាងមនុស្ស ដោយត្រៀមវាយជានិច្ច ហើយទីណាអ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងពិនិត្យមើលបទល្មើសដោយការប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន និងការវិនិច្ឆ័យយ៉ាងច្បាស់លាស់ នៅទីនោះប្រជាជនមិនធ្លាក់ចូលក្នុងភាពច្របូកច្របល់ ឬការធ្វេសប្រហែសទេ; សណ្តាប់ធ្នាប់ត្រូវបានរក្សាទុកដោយការត្រួតពិនិត្យយុត្តិធម៌ និងវត្តមានដ៏គួរឲ្យជឿនៃវិន័យ។
