Janamejaya’s Appeal for Pacification and Śaunaka’s Counsel on Humility (जनमेजय-शौनक संवादः)
तद् ब्रवीतु भवान् क्षिप्रं कि करोमि किमिच्छसि । प्रणयेन ब्रवीमि त्वां त्वं हि न: शरणागत:
tad bravītu bhavān kṣipraṁ ki karomi kim icchasi | praṇayena bravīmi tvāṁ tvaṁ hi naḥ śaraṇāgataḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ដូច្នេះ សូមប្រាប់ឲ្យឆាប់—ខ្ញុំត្រូវធ្វើអ្វី? លោកប្រាថ្នាអ្វី? ខ្ញុំសួរដោយសេចក្តីស្នេហា; ព្រោះលោកបានមកដល់ផ្ទះយើង ដើម្បីសុំជ្រកកោន»។
